I'm 28 years old, and live in Cambridge, England, where I studied law and linguistics. A lot of my growing up however was done in Australia, where I was born.

Briefly, I am interested in languages, history, economics (particularly of information systems), computing and politics (I have been closely involved in campaigns against ID cards and the over-extension of copyright laws). I am very easily sidetracked by the philosophy of language and philosophy of law, particularly where they intersect, and when I am not working in the IT industry, drinking too much or campaigning, I am trying to write a book on the comparative history of Westminster-style democratic constitutions.
