Based on experience with other voluntary organisations, I'd recommend the SRCF consider adopting a structure similar to the following, which permits the Committee to alter part of its composition from year-to-year as circumstances change.

Replace Article 6 with the following:

• 6.1 The Committee shall comprise

  • 6.1.1 the principal officers enumerated in Article 5,

  • 6.1.2 where the Committee has determined that additional officers with particular titles and responsibilities should serve for the next year, and included them in the notice of the AGM in the list of posts to be contested, any additional officers so elected, and

  • 6.1.3 any members co-opted by the Committee since the most recent AGM.

• 6.2 It shall meet at least once per term, and may invite any other persons to attend Committee meetings as it sees fit.

• 6.3 The Senior Treasurer shall always be invited to attend Committee meetings if (s)he wishes to.
